Why Sydney Specifies Asetica

Asetica's sintered stone carries zero porosity — salt, moisture and humidity have nothing to penetrate. Yes. Asetica supplies through a network of NSW fabricators and stonemasons, who handle templating, cutting and installation. Talk to us about your project and we will point you to a fabricator who works with our material.
Yes. Sintered stone is non porous, UV stable and unaffected by salt air, so it holds its colour through a Sydney summer and does not absorb moisture on a coastal site. It is used for alfresco benchtops, outdoor kitchens, pool surrounds and facades.
Natural minerals, clays and mineral oxides, compacted under very high pressure and fired at around 1200 degrees. There is no resin binder, which is what gives it a hardness of Mohs 7, zero porosity and heat resistance to 400 degrees.
