Guide prices as at October 2026. Indicative only, not a quote. Prices include GST and cover the slab only, with no delivery, cutting, edging or installation. They can change with stock and colour availability, and not every colour is stocked in every state. 20 mm slabs are available on request, minimum quantities apply, and some colours come in 12 mm only. Full-body colours are not covered by these prices.

Why doesn't Asetica sell direct to homeowners?
Asetica is a trade wholesaler. We supply slabs to stonemasons, cabinet makers and builders across Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, and they template, cut, edge and install each benchtop. Because the stonemason measures the space and does the work, they are the right person to price the finished job. You still choose the colour: order free samples or see full slabs in a showroom first.
What affects the final cost of a sintered stone benchtop?
The slab is only part of the price. The rest depends on your layout and the work involved:
- Number of slabs: each 3200 x 1600 mm slab covers 5.12 square metres before offcuts. Your stonemason plans the cuts to get the most out of every slab.
- Thickness: 20 mm slabs cost more than 12 mm, are available on request with minimum quantities, and some colours come in 12 mm only.
- Edges and details: edge profiles, mitred or waterfall ends, and cut-outs for the sink and cooktop.
- Splashbacks and extra surfaces: full-height splashbacks, vanities or wall cladding add material and labour.
- Installation: site access, removal of an old benchtop, and plumbing disconnection and reconnection.
Fabrication and installation are highly dependent on the job, but as a guide they add around $450 to $750 per square metre of stone, including GST. Larger kitchens sit at the lower end per square metre. Small jobs, mitred aprons, waterfall ends and lots of cut-outs push it higher, and rates vary between stonemasons and locations.
For typical supplied-and-installed costs, see our kitchen benchtop replacement cost guide.
Is 20 mm sintered stone more expensive than 12 mm?
Yes, by about $170 to $240 per slab depending on the range. 12 mm is the standard thickness for benchtops; 20 mm is available on request with minimum quantities, and some colours come in 12 mm only. A thicker-looking edge can usually be achieved on a 12 mm slab with a mitred edge, so ask your stonemason before ordering 20 mm.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sintered stone slab cost in Australia?
Asetica's indicative slab prices start from about $820 per 3200 x 1600 mm slab for the Classic range in 12 mm, including GST. Designer starts from about $1,020 and Luxury from about $1,480. Your stonemason gives the final price for your job.
How much is sintered stone per square metre?
About $160 per square metre of slab for Classic 12 mm, about $200 for Designer and about $290 for Luxury, including GST. That is the slab only; fabrication and installation are extra.
Can I buy slabs directly from Asetica?
No. Asetica is a trade wholesaler supplying stonemasons, cabinet makers and builders. Choose your colour with free samples or at a showroom, and your stonemason orders the slabs.
Do these prices include installation?
No. They are indicative slab-only prices including GST. Cutting, edging, cut-outs and installation are quoted by your stonemason.
How much does fabrication and installation cost?
It is highly dependent on your design, site and location, but as a guide fabrication and installation add around $450 to $750 per square metre of stone, including GST, on top of the slabs. Larger jobs sit at the lower end; small jobs and detailed edges or cut-outs sit higher. Your stonemason's quote is the price that counts.
Will my stonemason's quote match these prices?
No. Your stonemason's quote is the price that counts. It covers the slabs your layout needs, offcuts, delivery, cutting, edging and installation, so it will be higher than the slab price alone. Stonemasons buy at trade rates, which can be sharper than these guide prices.
