About this stone

Premium Travertino is a full-body sintered stone: the travertine banding runs right through the 20mm slab, so cut edges and mitred returns match the face. The surface is a pale ivory vein-cut travertine — fine, straight horizontal striations in soft grey-beige over a warm white ground, with very little contrast. It reads as an even texture rather than a figure, which is what lets it run across long benchtops and full-height splashbacks without a busy join.

Why full body matters. On a vein-cut stone the edge is where it shows. The striations carry around a mitred corner and down the side of an island in one continuous run, instead of stopping at a printed surface and exposing a plain core.

Part of the sintered stone (large-format porcelain) family, Premium Travertino is made from 100% natural materials, with no resins or synthetic binders, so it is non-porous and resistant to heat, scratches, stains and UV — and compliant with Australia's engineered stone ban. Available in 20mm only, in slabs up to 3200 × 1600mm for single-piece islands and mitred edges.
