This busy family home was in need of a surface that could handle busy school mornings to crazy weekend dinners.
Creating one of the most beautiful Kaledonia projects we have seen before. This husband and wife reno team knew they needed a surface that required very little maintenance and could keep up with their busy lives.
Despite everything they had heard about "brittle" and "fragile" sintered stone, they made the choice to take it on anyway and they couldn't be happier.
The result is a seamless harmony of inside and out, with an abundance of natural light that is perfectly diffused by Kaledonia's matte finish surface.
One of the major benefits for this family was they did not need to make any adjustments to their back bench when using Kaledonia as a splashback.
This was due to the heat resistant properties and no requirement for a 200mm clearance behind the burner.
One this was also very important to this husband and wife design team was a consistent them and flow throughout the entire home.
