About Asetica Surfaces

Asetica Surfaces is an Australian trade-only supplier of European-made sintered stone. We supply architects, builders, stonemasons, cabinet makers and interior designers with premium sintered stone slabs for benchtops, splashbacks, flooring, wall cladding, facades and outdoor kitchens — at competitive trade pricing.

Who we are

Asetica supplies its own range of sintered stone, produced by a European manufacturing partner we have worked with since 2007. We are a supplier, not a fabricator: we hold and distribute full slabs to the trade and connect specifiers with accredited local fabricators for installation.

Our position is straightforward — European sintered stone that stands alongside the premium global names, supplied without the premium-brand markup. Premium-brand quality, at competitive trade pricing.

What sintered stone is

Sintered stone is made from natural minerals and mineral pigments, compacted under high pressure and fired above 1,200°C, with no resin binder. The result is a dense, non-porous surface that resists scratches, stains, heat and UV, and never needs sealing.

Because it contains no resin, sintered stone is excluded from Australia's engineered stone ban (in force from 1 July 2024). It is not silica-free — like natural stone it contains crystalline silica — so licensed fabricators wet-cut with on-tool dust extraction in line with Safe Work Australia guidance. Once installed, the finished surface poses no silica risk to occupants.

Our range

The Asetica range spans warm marble looks to deep, dramatic stones — including Taj Mahal, Taj Mahal Royale, Calacatta White, Kaledonia and Marvel Gold — in 12mm and 20mm thicknesses, with slabs up to 3,200 × 1,600mm. View the collection.

Showrooms

See full slabs in person at our showrooms in Sydney (Padstow, NSW), Perth (Subiaco, WA) and Melbourne. NSW and VIC viewings are by appointment. Every Asetica surface is backed by a 25-year warranty.
