Sintered stone is made entirely of natural minerals combined with an ultra-high heat production processes that makes it far stronger than natural marble, with complete heat, stain, scratch and UV resistance. A truly remarkable material exclusive to Asetica NSW and WA.

It also features up to 95% recycled ingredients in every slab for a truly sustainable design.

Plus, the materials within are heated to such a high temperature that all elements fuse together to create an incredibly durable slab that you won't get with new glass based surfaces.

Unlike engineered stone, it contains no binders, toxic ingredients and polyester resins.

Our TECHLAM range of sintered stone meets all international and local requirements for sustainability and all production practices meet strict criteria for global emissions, water recycling and renewable energy sources.

Sintered Stone and porcelain share very similar properties. However with Techlam Sintered Stone there is an important difference.

Sintered stone is produced and compacted at far higher temperatures and with far more pressure.

This results in a stronger material that exhibits a very high heat resistance, without many of the issue related to tension, cracking and chipping that may occur with the more readily available porcelain benchtop materials on the market today.

Techlam Sintered Stone has also been produced since 2007, unlike many of the porcelain brands on the market today that are only a few years old.

Sintered stone is approved by the Australian government to be sold, fabricated and installed in Australian homes due to its much safer composition and nature than high crystalline silica products, which have now been banned for use across the country.

Sintered stone never has been banned or regulated by the government or Worksafe Australia.

Sintered stone also contains no polyester resins or harmful binders as the new glass-based products do.
